Take The Ultimate Quiz To See If You’re Deaf

Today different companies and brands are fighting each other to create the best listening experience with their products. Have you ever wondered if the difference is really that drastic? There are so many variables that go into every listening experience. With the release of TIDAL, a new music platform from Jay-Z, it promised to deliver HiFi uncompressed files that will create a better listening experience than ever before. This of course comes with a monthly price tag.(you can pay $9.99/month for a standard MP3-quality subscription or $19.99/month for access to lossless quality; there is no free option) Before you cough up your cash you might want to test if this is really worth it.

NPR created this quiz to see if you could actually tell the difference between different audio files of the same song. This test is hard. Can you tell the difference between Uncompressed, 320kbps, and 128kbps? This test might be harder for some more than others. Whether you are using poor headphones, are in a bad listening enviornment, or might experience some hearing loss, you might not be able to tell the difference. Take a look at the quiz format!
