Going to festivals is making you deaf
Every time we go to a club, a party or a festival, our ears are deteriorating little by little and once they are gone, there is no way of bringing hearing back.
The Huffington Post just posted an article regarding the numbers that the WHO has presented about people with hearing problems.
Here are some of the tips they share so you can take better care of it:
1. Find headphones that adapt to your ears. The headphones that come with your phone are not made specifically for you so we tend to turn the volume up which is not a good thing. Find the ones that are most comfortable to avoid this.
2. Give your ears a break. The WHO says that you should not listen to music above 80 decibles for over 60 minutes.
3. Get some ear plugs, specially for concerts and festivals.
It’s always better to be safe than sorry so start taking better care of your sense of hearing.
