In art everything is relative. It’s all in the eye of the beholder, you can love something and someone else can hate it but it does not mean that you are right or wrong, it just means we all have different tastes.

The year is almost over we know that throughout all these months, there are two names that have dominated the scene. The first one is a young guy who started in the underground scene called Sonny Moore who later changed his name to Skrillex. This guy became the master of dubstep and he now has jumped to many other genres to keep his work in movement and make his music evolve.

And while Skrillex was making everyone dance in every festival in the world, Tiësto found a ray of light who was about to revolutionize the music scene. Martin Garrix started his career releasing his son “Animals” and he skyrocketed to a super star status in a very short time and he has known how to keep his place there.

So, let’s see the numbers to see who is the most popular of the year.

-“Where Are Ü Now”: Over 357 millions
-“Bangarang” over 148 millions
-“To Ü”: Over 23 millions

Martin Garrix:

-“Animals” Over 136 millions
-“Don’t Look Down” over 82 millions
-“Forbidden Voices” over 30 millions

On Spotify, Skrillex seems to be winning. Now let’s see YouTube and their most popular songs:

“Where Are Ü Now” by Skrillex, Diplo and Justin Bieber:
