Meet The New Project That’s Planning To Boost The Local Scene

The International Agency BVLOC Artists in Mexico, founded by Karla Lara (Mexico) and Andrés Valenzuela (Peru), is officially launched today, which seeks to promote the work of artists through its platform. Currently they have a roster consisting of almost 50 world-class artists highlighting the names of Adriana Lucia, Matt Tolfrey, Mark Lower, Nusha, Dale Howard, Louie Fresco, Metrika, among many others.

Karla Lara’s career in the electronic music industry began in 2002 organizing events and debuting as a DJ in Mexico City and Tijuana, her hometown. In 2006 she joined the collective Sounds of Earth, where she worked for 8 years, as a Booking Agent for artists such as Tini Tun, Vazik, Signal Deluxe and Issac. In 2014 she worked as Booking Agent with Ensamble, a recognized collective of Mexico City and that just opened in 2016, she joined as an agent at Born In Mexico, working for artists like Betoko, Balcazar, Metrika, Zombies In Miami, Rebolledo, Machino and Pinto, among others.

With the experience acquired in over 10 years, at the end of 2017 she decided to found her own agency, now international, together with her partner Andrés Valenzuela.
